RacephotoLIVE
RacePhotoLIVE is a revolutionary imaging
service developed by Victor Newman
Photography, LLC
that publishes still photographs taken from a free-roaming camera to the
internet within seconds of being taken.
Making use of wireless data transmission technology, this breakthrough in
photography allows almost instant viewing of events as they happen.
Within ten to twenty seconds of image capture, viewers anywhere in the world are
able to see the events take place.
While this might sound like a webcam, there are critical differences. Webcams
operate from one location. RacePhotoLIVE is completely
mobile, transmitting wirelessly to the base station, which can be literally
miles away from the camera. Webcams shoot a fixed scene at
a fixed time interval, with no regard to when or where a critical moment occurs.
RacePhotoLIVE images are the product of an experienced
photographer snapping a carefully-composed photo at the decisive moment. Webcams
use a single fixed focal-length lens. RacePhotoLIVE
employs multiple lenses, each chosen for each shot.
Race Photo Live was initially developed for use in auto-racing applications, but
has tremendous potential in many varied live-event venues.
There is no known equivalent to RacePhotoLIVE.
